March 5, 2022 - Saturday

Today was a little busier than I would have liked, with a couple of stresses added into it. We went to class in the morning and class ran late. We were starving when we got out, so we went and took the family to Marino's for fish and chips afterward. Lunch was yummy, but it's always hectic taking all of the kids out to eat. Nobody likes anything. 🙄 We headed home and I took the kids straight outside to start yardwork. I was so motivated! An hour into it, I was exhausted. Like, literally, felt like I could barely move anymore. Ben finished everything up with that and we (Ben) decided to clean out the hot tub. 😔 Over an hour later, we were finally done outside, and Ben ran to the grocery store to get supplies for Ollie's party that was supposed to be tomorrow. While he did that, I hung coat hooks and a basket for mail on the backpack wall (FINALLY!), which seemed to take forever and was much more complicated than I expected. I fed the kids cereal for dinner and then Ben got home with groceries. Once everything was put away, he cooked us dinner. But the day is not over yet! We heard from Melis that Naz is sick with a fever and I knew that Brit has been feeling bad too. After realizing that it would leave just Ben's parents and the Popescos (could be an awkward party!), we decided to reschedule to next weekend. I cleaned up the kitchen, we got everyone to bed, and then we had a stressful evening reading through reviews for the rental company of our beach house for May. They are terrible. Like, half 1-star and half 5-star. And almost all of the 1-stars were of people being charged for things they didn't do. Not cool! We're going to sleep on it and hopefully feel less anxious about that in the morning. We're all bummed about Ollie's party too, but also kind of happy to have a day with absolutely nothing going on tomorrow.
