My play date with Anne got cancelled this morning because of...you guessed it. SICKNESS! Haha nobody is really sick seeming anymore, but since Clemi had a fever yesterday, we decided to reschedule. I wouldn't want to compromise Ezra's health any more than it already is. 

I spent some time working this morning and then had lunch with Terracina. It's been a while. I am worried about my friend sometimes. I know she's a deep thinker and I try not to take all of her verbal processing too seriously, but I do get worried. I should try to get together with her more often than once every three months! After lunch, I kind of got roped into taking Ollie on a mommy/daughter date. The thing is, I don't have any scheduled time with her. When I made the schedule, she was home all of the time, so we got tons of alone time together. That hasn't been the case this summer, so it was good for me to do, but I hate being forced into things. Regardless, I took her to pick out her first day of school dress and then we went to Johnson's for ice cream. Literally, within two minutes, she dropped her ice cream right on the ground. So sad! Thankfully, they offered to give us a new cone on the house. I was relieved, because it was $7.50 for her sprinkle cone with two scoops! We were right next to her pre-k, so we walked all around it and talked about school a bit. She says she's excited and that she won't freak out when I drop her off. 😅 We'll see! 

In the evening, we took all of the kids over to the Hawthorne's for a fire and had a great time hanging out. It was a pretty small crowd: Jenny, Elliot, Katelyn, Patrick and us. I mean, any time all six of us goes somewhere, we make it a big group! lol But just a few adults. It was fun though. I'm glad we made it over there. Ben and I hopped into the hot tub after we got home. I was in a party kind of mood, thanks to having two ciders. :) Our afterparty at home was a good time too!
