Holy crap. How have I not updated since Wednesday?

On Thursday, Brit came over and we had a super cute photo shoot with the girlies. Frustratingly, Murphy messed up my backdrop in the 10 minutes he was shut into the back room, which infuriated me. Being furious during the beginning of the photo shoot, I acted like a butthead for like 15 minutes. You know, one of those, "You're going to smile and look pretty...whether you like it or not!" moments. That made it really fun. 😬 Anyway, aside from that, the shoot was actually pretty fun.

Friday was a real treat, let me tell you. Clemi woke up with a belly ache and a fever, so we kept her out of school. She is not a kid to try to stay home from school. She hates missing school. So we were a little worried, but it seemed pretty mild, so we had her sit on the couch on a sheet and take it easy for a while. And then she proceeded to vomit several times throughout the day, all the while clutching her stomach and moaning about how much pain she was in. 😟 She finally headed up to bed around 7:15 and slept through the whole night without incident, thank God.

By Saturday, my mild sore throat had turned into an actual cold. (So sorry Brit! I hope you don't get sick!) I slept badly the night before because of congestion and felt pretty yucky. I stayed home from class with Clem, who still needed to quarantine for at least 24 hours after the last time she threw up, and did absolutely nothing for hours. I ended up getting lunch ready for everyone, doing some laundry, and cleaning quite a bit throughout the day. We also finished painting the kitchen and nook area! We still need to get the yellow wall in the den painted. Hopefully that happens this week.

And, finally, today. Not very exciting. We shopped with the whole fam, I cleaned up, made lunches for the week, continued more and more laundry (like 12 loads this week! 😭), helped all the kids get their valentines ready for school, and made snacks for the Super Bowl...which we thought started at 5, but apparently doesn't start until 6:30. I am in a constant state of mild anxiety with the wedding this weekend and knowing I'll be leaving the kids. Every time I'm not moving, I'm sick with anxiety. Which I get worried is actually a stomach bug (thanks Clem).
