What a day! We spent most of the beginning of the day prepping for our BBQ/pool party with the Popes and then the later part of our day partying with them. It was a really good time. The weather was cloudy and pretty cool in the late afternoon and our kids play together so well. We were all surprised that we got to spend lots of time just sitting around the table on the deck while all of the kids played (relatively) peacefully in the yard. It's also so great to have a couple that we're close enough with that we can hang out with none of the pressure. Like, the pressure to have the house just right, the food just right, to not eat too much, to look good, to have your kids behave perfectly. Even though we all want to be able to drop all that crap, it's rare that we don't feel it to some degree with almost everyone. I have maybe three or four close friends that I feel that way with, but this is probably the only couple that we both feel at ease around. We ended the evening feeling totally exhausted, but in a good way.
Still thinking and praying about whether or not we want to move. I know that this is supposed to be like 6-8 months of thinking and praying, but it's hard to be undecided for such a long time. We both are really hoping that God will make it absolutely clear to us what the best move is before we take such a big step.
