We got to go to CT a little later than usual, since we didn't have the bags. Caitlin picked them up for me when she picked Cam up on Friday. Between Brit bringing them back for me and Caitlin picking them up, I'm feeling much more content with my job. We had a staff training right after CT and I think it went pretty smoothly and, more importantly, pretty quickly. No, that's not more important, but I know everyone appreciated it. Of course, we had a terrible turnout. The young toddler room literally had two volunteers there out of 14. How? And some of those volunteers are so clueless about procedures and rules! They seriously couldn't have given an additional half hour to the program? Sheesh. Anyway, it went just fine, and Nathan ran the whole thing AND brought snacks. Very little for me to do besides stick around for it and lead the classroom discussion for pre-k afterwards.

We got home from CT at like 12:50, leaving me with an hour and 10 minutes to make potato salad, mac n cheese, and bake three dozen cookies. hahahahaha Sadly, the potatoes Ben boiled last night were way overcooked and I had to redo them. Honestly though, I was just thankful for a reason to not head straight over there at 2. It was a pretty good time though and the kids had so much fun. Kylienne and Jenny were there too with the kids, while the guys played Magic. There was so much good food and drinks. It seemed to go on forever, but there are worse ways to spend the afternoon. I didn't get to be alone (it feels like I'm never alone anymore), but I did get to have good food and good company, so I can't complain too much. Oh, and Kylienne is pregnant! I was wondering, based on her clothes and her belly, but of course couldn't ask without risking being super rude. She's already 15 weeks.
