Today was a bit of a failure as a school day, but as a regular day, not too bad. Me and Ruby left the house around 9:45 for her behavior evaluation that we've been waiting for since February. It seemed to go great; she loved Dr. Amy and said she had a blast playing and talking with her! It was a little weird just dropping her off, but I enjoyed my time reading and did get a little shopping done at Target in the meantime.

I spent a lot of time this afternoon looking at our homeschooling materials and trying to figure out if we're almost through half, since we're almost at half of the school year. We are several weeks behind! So I started a plan to start cramming in more work, but when I talked about it with Ben, he thought I should not stress about it and just let the year extend a little longer into the summer. I don't know. We'll at least do it this week and next and then we might just break for Christmas. I think we'd all really appreciate a couple of weeks off.

In the afternoon, I cooked, and in the evening, I had to go to a planning meeting with CACH for next semester. I'm not a huge fan of the way the planning was done, but I am happy with the classes I'll be doing. One of the admin team is stepping out next year and they asked if anyone would like to fill her role. I think I'll volunteer for it. I wouldn't have to teach any of the classes and I think it would be a lot like my Sunday mornings. If anyone else wants to do it though, I'll just step back down. I don't want to compete against anybody for it or anything like that.
