Day 359 of my 365 Photo Journal

Ugh. Today sucked. Well, maybe it was more my attitude than the actual day, but...we'll blame it on the day. It kind of all started last night, when I gratefully accepted Emily and Nathan's offer to let us borrow their crutches...and then proceeded to get several offers for free crutches from people living right in Dublin. Since I had already told Emily I would come by in the morning, I felt uncomfortable changing my mind and going with someone else. BUT, I could not stop thinking about how inconvenient it would be to drive to her house, so far away, rather than someone's house very close by. So this morning, I was stressed about the far drive and how Ollie might act, being stuck in the car for so long (since I had other errands to run too). My fears were confirmed. Ollie cried/screamed/yelled at me for the ENTIRE drive. Sitting in bed just now, I saw that a neighbor sent me a message at 7:30am offering me her brand new crutches for free. *sigh sigh sigh* Anyway, what's done is done at this point. It was a bad day. Neither me or Ollie really recovered from the crappy morning, although the rest of the day was ok.

I called Ben's ortho doc this morning and his next available appt was tomorrow morning at 8:30am. The exact same time that I have to get the girls onto the school bus. Ben really wanted to take that appt, because he doesn't want to have to wait until Monday for his MRI (perfectly understandable). I booked the appt, but the stress of having to make this whole thing happen super early in the morning has also been contributing to the mood. BUT!!! It sounds like Alex has offered to take Ben to the appointment!!!! Such a relief!!!!!!

In my terrible mood, I did not take any pictures today. I'm posting some from Monday. Better times. 😅 Just check out Ben's form in this one. So good! And Ollie is showing me the two horsey best friends, while Clemi and Ruby make piles out of who knows what on our window ledge. But we're all outside getting fresh air and we're all together and we're all off of our screens!
