October 6, 2025 - Monday

Well, I was feeling bold this weekend and invited some people out to HC. I asked Kylienne first and she responded today that with Riven's cub scouts meetings on Monday nights, she wouldn't be free to come. But she asked me to invite her out again sometime. Then I texted Grace to see if she'd like to ride over with us and come to HC and she said yes! That was exciting, but I spent most of the day feeling super anxious and wishing I had never invited her at all. I had moments of feeling less anxious during the day, but it was a rough one for me. We went and picked her up, though, and it was good. She said she had a great time and that everyone was really nice. She seemed to enjoy the beer tasting too. So...we'll see if she's open to joining us again! I feel a little uncertain about what to do next. Like, do I follow up quickly to see how she felt about it? Do I just give her some space? Should I text again next week and ask about HC again or should I wait and see if she reaches out to me? Whatever. I'll probably just text and ask again next Sunday and see what she says. There's no harm in it. I think she believes she's a Christian, although I feel really doubtful that she's born again. So, at the very least, I don't think it's offensive at all to her to be invited out. I also reached out to Angela (the woman from CT) again and she said it's on her calendar for next Monday, so we'll see if she comes out or not!
