Day 328 of my 365 Photo Journal

Oh man, I wish I was asleep right now. I've been going through some serious bad moods over the last week. I'm pretty sure it's from not getting good enough sleep, but maybe I'm just becoming more horrible of a person. Who knows?!? I'm not getting good enough sleep though, whatever the answer is to the mood issue. I'm tired. All. The. Time. If I add it all up, I'm usually getting between 6 and 7 hours of sleep, which is not bad at all! I think it's just that it's so disjointed lately that's making me so tired. Like, getting out of bed and going to check on Ollie a few times a night or sleeping really lightly because I'm afraid I won't hear Ollie when she cries out for me. I know that this will only be for a while, which makes it bearable, but I am really, really tired.

We spent most of our day just hanging out at the house. We celebrated Marme's birthday (it's not for another week and a half or so!) this evening with some banana cake that was very yummy, but much more dense than I thought it would be. Me, dad, and Ben talked about the bathroom renovation a lot and graphed out the layout we think we'll go with. I think it'll be beautiful, but potentially annoying to have our laundry inside our bathroom. It will be really nice to have a larger entryway by the back door though and I feel like that makes it worth it. And the laundry space in the bathroom will end up being a lot more functional than my laundry room is now! I'm excited to get started on it, although I have no idea when we actually will start on it. 😄

Sadly, dad and MJ had to head back to their camper tonight. Our days together always seem too short! We had lots of tears and frustration from the kids, but the promise of school in the morning helped them to accept it a little easier. We're so looking forward to having regular visits with them again!

These are just some photos of us hanging out on the porch this morning. We thought a storm was rolling in and initially it was a little breezy and not too hot, but the storm never came and the breeze left and we ended up going inside all sweaty.
