Man, I was laser focused today! I didn't go to CT and, instead, got right to work on the girl's closet. I emptied it out and disassembled while Ben was running. Then, once he got home and showered, I changed and we went out on a date. Nothing fancy. We just grabbed Panera and ran a few errands. I spent the entire afternoon working on the closet more. I called MJ and we talked for an hour while I painted the closet (pink, of course). Then, as that dried, I made the candied yams for Jonas to bring to his friendsgiving at PINSY. Clem made brownies to bring earlier. It's so frustrating because her book says they need to cook for 30-35 minutes (she makes them from scratch), but they're completely overcooked within 21-22 minutes. She was very disappointed that the edges were all rock hard, so I cut them all off and just packed up the center pieces. A few less brownies than we wanted, but it's ok! Lots of people are bringing stuff. 

After dropping Clem off at group, I came back and worked through dinner and all the way up until bed time, but I completely finished!!!! I cut all the wood in the morning, so I got everything assembled and rehung and cleaned by the time the girls got into bed. Toys aren't in the empty cubbies yet because I'm waiting for some storage bins to come. I don't think it looks quite as nice as Clem's, nor does it offer quite as much storage, but I couldn't think of a better design for two kids than this. I didn't paint the wood because I figured it would get so messed up over the next couple of years that I could put a coat on later when it starts looking dingy.
