We didn't hang out with Chelsea and Frank at all today. Our plan was to meet them for dinner, but Ben was awake all night feeling terrible, so I cancelled dinner. We went down to the pool for the first half of the day and hung out there for a few hours. Ben joined us off and on. After that, we went to Los Kioskos for some souvenir shopping. Very expensive! Like, not more expensive than other beaches or anything, but souvenirs for six people is just expensive. I think we spent $100. 😓 Ben was feeling bad, but he suggested we walk around to some of the restaurants and see what they had. I said no, because I didn't want to buy $100 worth of smoothies and fried stuff for the kids on top of what we already spent! We went back home and hung out at the beach for a couple of hours, then back to the pool again. With all this relaxing, I'm finally about done with my book! It's a weird one because I can tell it's kind of a knock off of the SJ Maas books, but it's still an addictive read. I want to shun it, but I can't. :) For dinner, we ate up all the junk that was left, plus Frank's leftovers he sent us home with. Ben and I packed and cleaned for a couple of hours and we're leaving at 4:30 tomorrow morning! In a way, I'm excited. It's hard to be in unfamiliar territory for too long, at least for me. But in another way, it's sad to have the vacation end. The kids have been so carefree and happy and I love seeing them laugh and play all day. I'll miss it.
